Contemporary Photography has created a Google Hotel Virtual Tour for Woodford Dolmen Hotel making it one of the first hotels in the region to adopt this new technology.
Situated on a riverside location on the outskirts of Carlow Town the Hotel is just an hour from Dublin.
Realising that there has been a change to the way people find accommodation on-line the Marketing Department at the hotel commissioned a Google Hotel Virtual Tour.
Google Business Photos are 360-degree tours powered by the familiar Google Street View technology.
An ever increasing number of businesses have used the technology since Google introduced it in 2010, and a growing number of hotel companies are now adopting it across the globe.
The Woodford Dolmen Virtual Tour takes online visitors from outside the hotel through the lobby and reception to the Dolmen Bar.
Those interested in accommodation can tour each of the room types from suite to double to the family room before making their choice.

Couples planning their wedding can wander through the Barrow Suite and see what the different types of table decor look like.
Those contemplating a civil wedding can see an example of how the Boardroom looks set up for a wedding ceremony.
All visitors can view the Barrow Riverside Gardens and the Barrow Bridge which are favourite spots with visitors for taking photographs.
The Claddagh Suite is set up in boardroom style, just awaiting the delegates!
The Killeshin Suite is shown set up conference style for more than 600 people.
